Welcome to Paradise

Today it has been exactly three weeks since I moved to the UK. I have been granted a new nickname, which is Evelyn. I am enrolled in the English education system and I am a student of one of England's best schools, according to various schools. I can't confirm that yet, but at least the school has a great deal more money than my former one (that isn't too hard). The school is the only place in the whole region where money is seen, however. This area is very deprived, most people get pregnant at 14 or something, claim some benefit and eat all day while watching TV. Luckily I have some new mates who aren't too Thanetstereotypical, although ALL have divorced parents and most get some sort of benefit. But that's life.

In general, I quite like it here so far. The climate is nice, the people are nice, the school is nice, my lessons are nice, my mates are nice. Typical English food is disgusting, though, and food in general is expensive.
